Join the Emory University Center for AIDS Research (CFAR) Implementation Science Hub on Thursday, March 6, for the next iteration in their speaker series, “De-implementing Low Value Interventions in HIV and Other Infectious Diseases.” The discussion will feature Ginger McKay, PhD, a co-investigator of the HIV Implementation Science Coordination Initiative. This is a hybrid event that will be followed by a one-hour reception for in-person attendees.

About the speaker:

Virginia (Ginger) McKay is the Assistant Director of Research for the Center for Public Health Systems Science (CPHSS) and Assistant Professor at the Brown School. Her research focuses on the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based practices addressing HIV prevention, especially the sustainability and de-implementation of interventions. In addition to her role at CPHSS, McKay leads the Infectious Disease – Dissemination and Implementation Science (IDDI) Initiative at the Institute for Public Health with significant support from the Brown School. IDDI is designed to cultivate implementation science research in infectious disease to meaningfully improve evidence-based prevention and treatment of infectious diseases in the St. Louis Region and beyond.
