2022 JAIDS Supplemental Issue: Implementation Science Informs EHE Strategies
The HIV Implementation Science Coordination Initiative (ISCI) published a July 2022 supplemental issue in the Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndromes (JAIDS), titled, “Harmonizing Implementation Science to Inform Strategies for Ending the HIV Epidemic in the United States” (volume 90, issue S1). The issue highlights findings from the 2019-22 CFAR/ARC supplement projects, as well as other larger domestic HIV implementation research studies. It includes 28 articles that cover all geographic regions of the United States, a wide range of priority populations, and the four pillars of the Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) initiative (Prevent, Treat, Diagnose, and Respond). Three of these articles share innovative findings from multiple EHE projects that pooled their findings and lessons learned.
Read the special issue to dive into the work that researchers have conducted and see some of the insights they have gained to inform strategies to end the HIV epidemic.
